Swyx Fax Server stopped receiving faxes  (United Kingdom)

Hi

Our Swyx fax server has recently stopped receiving faxes.  We can send faxes but can’t receive.   When people try to send faxes from outside the company’s they get a busy line.  If I ring the fax number it comes up as busy as well.

If I go into the SwyxFax Channels the status is stopped.  Ive right clicked and reset it but that has done nothing.  I’ve restarted the services a few times and nothing has worked.  Anybody got any ideas?

Re: Swyx Fax Server stopped receiving faxes  (United Kingdom)

We get something similar to this.  However,  in the Swyx Channels our fax status is still running: although we cannot receive them and the line comes up as engaged.  Restarting the fax service fixed this: but the problem recurrs afer a little while.  Its a nuisance as there is nothing much to warn you of the issue.
